Hydatid cyst is an important parasitic disease that threatens human and animal health and is very common in our country.
Serological diagnosis of hydatidosis; It is based on the principle of detecting samples containing anti-Echinococcus antibodies. Echinococcus Granulosis chimeric antigen is coated on sheep erythrocytes and detection is achieved by agglutinating these
erythrocytes with specific antibodies in the serum. Results against three different epitopes are seen in one microtube. It can be used easily and safely in almost all laboratories, including primary care laboratories. Thanks to itsease of standardization, it contributes to the reduction of application errors and is suitable for automation.
