Across Gel® Red Cell Elution Kit

Allo / Auto antibodies adsorbed to red cells in vivo or in vitro can be recovered by elution by separation. Eluate can then be used to identify a single antibody in multispecific serum, to indicate the presence of a weak antigen, to identify the antibody responsible for a positive direct antiglobulin test in the resulting hemolytic anemia or transfusion reaction, to identify antibodies causing hemolytic disease for newborn, or to prepare specific antibodies from serums that include unwanted antibodies.

Across Gel® Dara Remove Kit

Daratumumab (DARA) is an anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody which has promising results in relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma. DARA interferes with blood compatibility testing by causing panagglutination in the Indirect Antiglobulin Test and Cross-Match. Across Dara Remove can over come anti-CD38 antibody interference in one simple step. It inhibits the agglutination effect of Daratumumab thus preventing the false-positive reaction in Cross-Match and Indirect Agglutination Tests. Across Dara Remove Kit block s the CD38 molecule on the surface of the RBC. When treating RBC with Across Dara Remove, RBC behaves as if no Daratumumab was present in the patient’s sample.
