Techical Features

User friendliness of octo-m

  • For result evaluation, real card images are processed and stored in archive files on board the instrument and/or transferred to the hospitals’ LIS System. Extensive search  functions are available to locate results.
  • Prevents mistakes with its dual automation LIS connection.
  • By looking at priority samples from a different point of view, Emergency Sample and Stat Sample entry features make a difference.
  • Access to result by multi-level password protection. If a second change is made on  a test result, the system shows the user ID who made the change together with date and time
  • Provides necessary information on real time loaded tests and their remaining processing times.
  • Quick response to required new test panels.
  • With the reflex test feature, Weak RH (D) / Lectin A1 / Anti-H / Antibody titration etc. Tests can be performed automatically.
